As dawn approaches, you will reach the summit of Socialist Peak, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. From the top, you can enjoy an unforgettable sunrise over Tanzania's landscapes, with incredible views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the vast plains below, Mount Meru Crater, and the impressive Ash Cone inside the volcanic crater.
After spending time celebrating your achievement, taking photographs, and enjoying the summit scenery, you will begin your descent back to Saddle Hut for a well-deserved rest and breakfast. The descent continues through the beautiful alpine landscapes back to Miriakamba Hut, where you will stop for lunch before continuing down through the forest toward Momella Gate.
At Momella Gate, you will complete the park exit procedures and say goodbye to your mountain crew. Our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Arusha, where your unforgettable Mount Meru adventure comes to an end.
